Satomi trained as a music educator in Nagoya and taught for the Kawai Music School before moving to Vienna, where she now studies piano performance at MUK.
She teaches from an idea she calls Klaviergarten — a piano garden. The point of a lesson, as she puts it, is to feel the music rather than to get it right: loosen the body, open up, and spend the hour with the sound. Her study of anatomy, bodywork, and mental preparation runs alongside the playing rather than separately from it.
Satomi is concentrating on her studies in Vienna and is not taking students at the moment. Every lesson currently offered at the school is taught by Enea.
Training
- Graduated in music education from the Faculty of Education at Sugiyama Jogakuen University, Nagoya.
- Taught piano at the Kawai Music School before moving to Austria.
- Studies piano performance on the diploma course at MUK, the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, and begins a Master of Arts there in September 2026.
- Has studied piano with Kaori Yoshii, Soko Okamoto, Toshio Miyata, and Bernhard Parz.
- Alongside performance, has studied anatomy and physiology, bodywork, and mental training with Andrea Wild and Lilian Genn.
