Lesson terms and privacy

Here you'll find the terms for booking and canceling lessons, along with information about how we handle personal data.

Lessons and fees

Vienna Piano School offers private classical piano lessons online and, from October 2026, in person in Tokyo.

The 30-minute trial lesson is free. Regular 55-minute lessons start at US$35 online and US$40 in person; the in-person rate includes studio rental. Fees for advanced preparation are agreed after the trial.

Inquiries and bookings

Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a booking. We will reply with availability and, if it looks like a good fit, offer a free trial.
After reviewing your inquiry, we may suggest a different lesson format or schedule based on your level, goals, location, and availability.
After the trial, lessons are booked individually. A lesson is confirmed once its time and payment arrangements have been agreed.

Scheduling and cancellations

To request a reschedule, please give more than 48 hours' notice.
Subject to availability, the replacement lesson must take place within the same calendar month.
Lessons canceled 48 hours or less before the scheduled start cannot be rescheduled.
If the studio cancels a lesson, we will offer another time.

Privacy and analytics

When you submit the inquiry form, we collect the details you provide, including contact information, age, piano experience, goals, availability, and guardian details where applicable. We use this information to respond, assess lesson needs, arrange trial lessons, and administer lessons.

Inquiry details are stored on the school's server and sent to the studio by email. They are not sold or used for unrelated marketing.

This site uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and general device and location data. Google may process this data outside Japan under its own terms.

Inquiry records are retained for administrative purposes. To request access, correction, or deletion of your information, email contact@viennapianoschool.com.

For students under 18, a parent or guardian should approve the inquiry and provide their contact details.
