Who Lessons Are For

Practical weekly lessons for different starting points.

The studio works with students from junior high school age through adulthood. The level can vary; the common point is a serious weekly rhythm.

Teen students

For junior high school age and older students who need a stronger foundation in reading, technique, rhythm, and weekly practice.

Adult beginners and returners

For adults starting from the beginning, returning after a long break, or wanting a serious weekly routine without a school-like atmosphere.

Experienced and advanced players

For students who want more specific work on tone, structure, interpretation, difficult passages, and how to practise efficiently.

Auditions and competitions

For conservatory entrance, competitions, examinations, and performance preparation where repertoire, pacing, and feedback need to be organized carefully.

What Happens In Lessons

We break the problem down into playing and practice.

Lessons are not just playing through a piece again. We identify what is difficult, why it is difficult, and what should change.

01

Understand the current problem

We start by listening to what is happening now: the piece, the technical issue, the reading problem, or the practice routine that is not working.

02

Work on technique, reading, tone, and structure

Lessons do not stop at repeating a passage. We look at why it is difficult and what needs to change in movement, sound, rhythm, or understanding.

03

Make home practice clear

Each week ends with concrete practice tasks, so students know what to do at home and how to measure progress.

04

Improve through weekly continuity

Regular lessons make it possible to keep checking, adjusting, and building playing habits over time.

Enea seated at the piano

Enea teaches in Shinjuku and online, with lessons available in English, Japanese, or German.

Teacher Background

Viennese training, used as a practical teaching method.

Enea grew up and studied in Vienna. That background informs how he listens to tone, phrasing, rhythm, and structure, but the focus remains each student's actual progress every week.

Studio Classes and Events

Listening, score study, and performance opportunities.

These activities support the private lessons. They are kept concrete and useful rather than presented as a large institution.

Listening and Score Study

These sessions explore recordings, scores, and live performances together. Repertoire changes each term. Open to all levels, with no preparation needed.

Topics in Music History

A rotating series on the music, composers, and ideas that shaped the piano, from Baroque keyboard works through the Viennese classics to the 20th century.

Performance Class

Once a month, students perform for each other and receive faculty feedback in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Studio Concert

A formal performance event held once per term, giving students a real stage experience in a serious but encouraging environment.

Enrollment

The first step is a trial lesson inquiry.

Share your age, current level, repertoire if you have any, goals, and whether you prefer Shinjuku or online lessons.

01

Send an inquiry

Share your age, current level, a piece or two you've been working on, and what you'd like to get out of lessons.

02

Get a response

Enea reads each inquiry and replies with availability and next steps.
